Kinesiology Taping is used throughout the world in medical and rehab clinics, with athletes and sports teams, and by individuals wanting to move better with less pain.

This Course is suitable for those who have never worked with Kinesiology Tape previously, or for those who have used tape for years. The course is designed to present basic and advanced taping concepts in a hands-on practical learning environment.

If you are wanting to add Kinesiology Taping to your practice, or if you would like to learn new concepts and techniques that will help your clients, this is the taping course for you.

Course Objectives:

  • Participants will be able to demonstrate handling, cutting, and application of Kinesiology Tape
  • Participants will be able to demonstrate effective application of Kinesiology Tape for common conditions
  • Participants will understand the basic concepts of NeuroMuscular Response Testing
  • Participants will demonstrate basic use of Neuromuscular Response Testing in practice
  • Participants will demonstrate how to use Kinesiology tape to influence muscle function
  • Participants will be able to demonstrate effective taping patterns for common applications

Wear loose, comfortable clothing. Shorts and T-Shirt are recommended.

All course materials are provided.

Participants will receive 2 rolls of premium kinesiology tape to take home.

Participants will be awarded a Certificate of Attendance totally 14 hrs of Instruction and Practicum.

About the Instructor:

Matt DeWild RN, LMT, C.Ht, CHI

Matt DeWild is the owner and lead therapist at Integrated Functional Health.  He has been involved with manual therapy techniques for over 20 years.  Matt has extensive training and teaching experience with kinesiology tape, as well as many other natural health modalities.

11:10 – 12:00: Taping for Structure

12:00 – 13:00: Specific Taping Applications Practice

13:00 – 14:00: Lunch

14:00 – 15:00: Specific Taping Applications Practice

15:00 – 15:30: Taping for Movement

15:30 – 16:30: Specific Taping Applications Practice

16:30 – 16:40: Break

16:40 – 17:10: Taping for Fluid Dynamics
